Imagine the world we dream is possible. A world where people radiate peace, harmony and good will from within. Where the food is pure and delicious, people dance and sing and the sun rises and sets over an open expanse of beauty and balance.
For three days such a place exists just north of Joshua Tree National Park during the annual spring and Fall Bhakti Festivals. The Bhakti and Shakti festivals are vehicles for the evolution of human consciousness through a heart-centered revolution. Bhakti means love. So how fitting that the Magic Love Bus was invited to the spring Bhakti Festival, known as Shakti Fest, to lend its built in sound system to the musicians.
We immersed ourselves in yoga, dance and beautiful interactions with hundreds of peace lovers who loved the Bus. By night we hosted electronic devotional music and ecstatic dance. Our spirits, bodies and minds were renewed and rejuvenated.
Special thanks to Sridhar Silberfein and his team for their generous hospitality and kindness. To learn more about Bhakti Fest visit bhaktifest.com
